Thank you for your interest in recruiting Georgia Tech students for international internships! Georgia Tech's Global Internship Program has sent over 1,300 students to intern in more than 40 countries in fields such as engineering, computer science, business, international affairs, architecture, and more.
We are here to help you recruit the best students for your needs. If you'd like to learn more about setting up an international internship program with Georgia Tech, please browse our website and feel free to contact the Director, Ms. Jennifer Evanuik Baird, if you have any questions (1-404-894-7475 or email@example.com).
The most common timeframe for students to intern abroad is during GT's summer semester (May-August), however, students can intern during any semester (fall, spring and/or summer). Many students will combine two terms (spring + summer or summer + fall) in order to accommodate a longer internship. Internships should be a minimum of 10 weeks in the summer, and 14 weeks in the fall or spring. We advise that recruiting take place 4-8 months before an intended start date to allow ample time for recruitment, interviewing, preparation, and visa processing. The calendar below provides a guide to help you determine your recruiting schedule.
